WHY JOIN PHIT YOUNGSTARS?

PHIT Youngstars is a development training programme for boys & girls aged 9–11, designed to build young athletes from the ground up.

Through weekly coached sessions, children will develop key athletic skills including strength, endurance, co-ordination, and running technique. These sessions are designed not only to improve overall fitness, but to help children perform better in their chosen sports outside of PHIT whether that’s football, rugby, athletics, or more.

PHIT Youngstars is more than just training. It’s about creating a positive environment where effort is encouraged, confidence grows, and resilience becomes part of who they are.

For those who want to take it further, we will be working towards opportunities to compete, including HYROX Birmingham in October, as well as other suitable events throughout the year.

LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE

At PHIT Youngstars, our training is structured into 8-week blocks to give every child the best opportunity to learn, improve, and build confidence over time.

 

Each block is designed to create progress, not just activity. This means your child isn’t just turning up and exercising, they’re working towards something.

WHAT'S INVOLVED OVER 8 WEEKS:

- 8x WEEKLY COACHING SESSIONS

Each session is carefully planned to develop fitness, strength, running technique, and overall athletic ability. By training consistently each week, children build confidence, improve their skills, and develop positive habits that last.

- 3x PROGRESS & TIME TRIAL EVENTS

Children will take part in structured time trials at the start, middle, and end of the programme.
This allows them to track their progress, stay motivated, and experience a sense of achievement as they improve.

- STRUCTURED PROGRAMME FOR OUTSIDE OF PHIT

To support their development, each child will receive simple guidance on what they can do outside of sessions. This helps build consistency, reinforce what they learn, and improve faster over the 8 weeks.

- FREE PHIT YOUNGSTARS T-SHIRT

Every child will receive a PHIT Youngstars T-shirt making them part of the team and giving them something to wear with pride.

Archie - 10 Years Old

Archie recently competed in HYROX Youngstars Amsterdam and what a performance it was.

The day before his race was his birthday, moving him up into the older 10–11 age category. This meant he was one of the youngest athletes in his division, competing against older competitors.

Despite that, Archie delivered an incredible result finishing 28th out of 256 athletes with a time of 12:10.

We couldn’t be prouder of his effort, determination, and attitude on the day.
