What is group personal training?

Group personal training is a coaching-based fitness programme where a qualified coach works with a small group of people at the same time. At PHIT, this means you benefit from expert-led sessions, structured programming, and hands-on coaching, while also enjoying the motivation, accountability, and community that comes from training with like-minded people.

In simple terms, group personal training gives you the best of both worlds: personalised coaching and a supportive team environment to keep you consistent, motivated, and progressing.

How much does group personal training cost?

Group personal training is designed to be more affordable than one-to-one coaching, with prices typically depending on group size. Because the cost is shared across the group, you benefit from expert coaching at a lower price point compared to one-to-one personal training.

Is group personal training effective for weight loss?

Yes! Group personal training can be highly effective for weight loss when combined with the right coaching, consistency, and lifestyle habits. Unlike generic workouts, group PT follows a structured programme designed to help you burn calories, build muscle, and improve overall fitness. All of which play a key role in sustainable fat loss.

How long does a body transformation take?

The length of a body transformation depends on your starting point, goals, and how consistent you are. Most people begin to see noticeable changes within 6–8 weeks, with more significant results typically taking 12–16 weeks or longer.

Early progress often includes improvements in energy, strength, and fitness, followed by visible changes such as fat loss and increased muscle tone. Sustainable transformations take time, as the goal is not just quick results, but long-term change you can maintain.

How many sessions do I need to attend each week?

For most people, we recommend attending 2–4 sessions per week to see consistent progress. This allows you to train frequently enough to build strength, improve fitness, and support fat loss, while still giving your body time to recover.

If you're just starting out, 2–3 sessions per week is a great baseline to build consistency and confidence. As your fitness improves and your goals become more specific, increasing to 3–4 sessions per week can help accelerate your results.

What happens are my first group personal training session?

Your first session is all about getting to know you and setting you up for success. Before your first session, we’ll start with a quick chat about your goals, training history, and any injuries or limitations, so we can tailor the experience to you from day one.

You’ll then be guided through a structured session where your coach will assess your movement, fitness level, and basic strength. Don’t worry, this isn’t about pushing you to your limits, but understanding where you’re starting from so we can build the right plan for you.

Do you offer nutritional support alongside the coaching?

Yes. Nutrition is a key part of getting results, so we provide guidance alongside your training.

At PHIT, we don’t believe in extreme diets or quick fixes. Instead, we focus on helping you build simple, sustainable eating habits that support your goals, whether that’s fat loss, improving energy, or overall health.

You’ll receive practical advice, ongoing support, and guidance from our coaches to help you stay on track. Our aim is to make nutrition easy to understand and realistic to follow, so you can achieve results without feeling restricted.
